East Greenbush CSD parents are invited to attend “Hidden Dangers,” a free event about vaping and marijuana on Wednesday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the SHAC Community Center in Averill Park.

The presentation will help caregivers identify and understand the signs and dangers of vaping, dabbing and other drug use, even if they don’t suspect that their child might be using. There will also be a demonstration of hiding places within a teen’s bedroom. Families will receive information on why and when to search, how items are used, and how to have a conversation with their loved one about their concerns.

The event is being presented by the grassroots organization Nopiates.
