No School - Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day)

All schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. However, Friday, May 26 and Tuesday, May 30 will be regular school days for all students and staff due to the district's use of five emergency closings this school year.

A student at summer schoolThe East Greenbush Central School District is offering a variety of free summer school programs for students in grades K-12 this coming summer. All programs will be located at Howard L. Goff Middle School.

  • Extended School Year Program (Special Education)
    • Extended School Year program for Special Education students to prevent substantial regression
    • Thursday, July 6, 2023 – Wednesday, August 16, 2023
    • 8:15-11:15 a.m.
    • Howard L. Goff Middle School
    • Program is open to current K-12 Special Education students
    • Transportation will be provided
    • Students are enrolled based on the student’s IEP and recommendations from teachers and the Special Education Department
  • K-8 Elevate Summer School Program
    • Summer school program for K-8 students to help fill learning gaps and prepare students for their next grade level
    • Wednesday, July 5, 2023 – Friday, July 28, 2023
    • 8:30-11:30 a.m.
    • Howard L. Goff Middle School
    • Program is open to current K-8 students
    • Transportation will not be provided
    • Parents can register their child by filling out the form on ParentSquare (Register via ParentSquare)
  • Columbia APEX
    • 6-week credit recovery program for high school students
    • Monday, July 10, 2023 – Thursday, August 17, 2023
    • 8:30 – 11:00 a.m.
    • Howard L. Goff Middle School
    • Open to high school students in need of making up credits
