Three former student athletes and three coaches/staff/volunteers were inducted into the Columbia High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame on May 13. The Class of 2023 includes Jamie Carr Ferrari ’00, Stephen Sayre ’02, and Brendan Morgan ’12 and from the Coach/Staff/Community Category, Bill Neumann, Bill Clum and Todd Romer.
The event began with a dedication in the Athletic Hall of Fame Walkway at Columbia High School where each of the inductees was presented with a plaque for them to display in the trophy cases that line the hallway.
Immediately following, the inductees were honored at a dinner at Franklin Terrace in Troy.
“The Columbia All-Sports Club Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2023 Induction Ceremony was an exceptional night honoring and celebrating these six new inductees,” said Columbia Athletic Director Ryan Jones. “This year’s class has a great mix of Alumni Athletes, Coaches, Faculty and Community Members. It truly made for a special evening of Columbia Athletics History! Thank you to the Columbia All-Sports Club for hosting this event and making the night a success! I would also like to thank all of our sponsors and donors, plus Joe Calderone for emceeing the event.”
