Nineteen Columbia High School student athletes announced their college commitments at a press conference on Monday afternoon in the school gym. The student athletes represent fall, winter and spring sports.
Each student was accompanied by family as they signed their college commitments in front of teammates and coaches.
“College Commitment Signing Day is an excellent opportunity to celebrate our student athletes who will be moving on to compete at the collegiate level!” said Columbia Athletic Director Ryan Jones. “It’s always nice when we can showcase the great student athletes we have here at Columbia High School and recognize them for the hard work they have put in both athletically and academically. It is special to see the students, families and friends come out to support each other as these student athletes take the next step in their athletic careers. We wish them the best and thank them for their contributions to the Columbia Blue Devils Programs.”
