The Green Meadow Student Council visited the Rensselaer County Courthouse on Tuesday to learn more about laws and the justice system. The group was hosted by Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly.
Students were given a tour of the building, met with several judges in their chambers and witnessed actual court cases in the court room.
The students were accompanied by Student Council advisors John Flanagan and Jaimee Kusche.
