East Greenbush CSD Announces Half Days for June 23-24

In anticipation of extreme heat this week and its impact on health and safety in schools, the East Greenbush Central School District will have half days for grades PK-8 on Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24. The current weather forecast shows temperatures in the mid-90s and a heat index reaching 105 degrees.

Red Mill Field Day Schedule

Students running at Red Mill Field DayRed Mill Field Day for grades 1-5 is scheduled for Thursday, May 30 at the field behind school. All parents are welcome to attend this fun event.

Track and field events will include races, long jump, javelin, discus, softball throw, potato sack races and basketball.

Schedule:

Grade 5 – 9:30-10:30
Grade 3 – 10:35-11:35
Grade 4 – 11:40-12:40
Grade 1 – 1:35-2:15
Grade 2 – 2:20-3:00
Coaches Cup – 3:05-3:15 (for students who have qualified)

Kindergarten Field Day is scheduled separately on Wednesday, June 12 from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
