Ava Weiss ’26 Wins NYS Championship and Federation Championship

Ava Weiss on the podium at the NYS Federation championshipColumbia High School sophomore Ava Weiss ’26 won a state championship in the 400m hurdles at the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at Cicero-North Syracuse High School in Syracuse. She followed that by winning a Federation Championship in the 400m hurdles on Saturday, and lowering her own school record time to 60.63.
