In anticipation of extreme heat this week and its impact on health and safety in schools, the East Greenbush Central School District will have half days for grades PK-8 on Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24. The current weather forecast shows temperatures in the mid-90s and a heat index reaching 105 degrees.
Columbia High School senior Nicholas Rizzo ’24 has qualified for the Tier One World Ninja League Championships which will be held on the weekend of June 21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
This will be Mr. Rizzo’s second straight year advancing to the Finals. He trains year-round under the direction of Coach Geoff Snyder at the Albany and Saratoga Ninja Labs.
