2024 Tenure Recipients
Two dozen educators including teachers, teaching assistants and administrators have earned tenure this school year after successfully completing a four-year probationary period of effective instruction and evaluation. They each were recognized at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting in the Columbia High School auditorium.

Each of the tenure recipients received a certificate from Superintendent Jeff Simons and Director of Human Resources Marissa Cannon.

“In East Greenbush Central Schools, we maintain high standards of excellence for our teachers, educational leaders and teaching assistants,” said Mr. Simons. “Tenure is not an automatic in our schools. Each of the individuals to whom we award tenure, have met rigorous and challenging standards of effective practice. We encourage them to remain committed to their own professional growth and learning in the years to come.”

Congratulations!
