Questar III BOCES is hosting three separate forums this month to gather feedback in response to the New York State Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures, which presented recommendations for future diploma requirements to the Board of Regents last fall.

It is incredibly important that the Board of Regents hears from those who will be directly impacted by these changes, including parents, caregivers, students, and educators.

Graduation Measures Feedback Forums
Pre-registration is required. Forums will be held at the Questar III Conference Center, located at 10 Empire State Blvd in Castleton. To pre-register, please click the appropriate link below:

• Parent/Public Forum (September 11, 2024, 5:00-7:00 p.m.)
• Educator Forum (September 16, 2024, 1:00-4:00 p.m.)
• Student Forum – held virtually through Zoom (September 25, 2024, 12:00-2:00 p.m.)

These forums will allow you to offer your unique insight into the future of education in our state. This is a great opportunity for you to ensure that future diploma standards reflect the aspirations and goals of our students and our school communities. We encourage you to share your thoughts, ask questions, and engage in these discussions.

Please have your child speak with their principal if they are interested in participating in the virtual forum on September 25 as this will be held during the school day.
