East Greenbush CSD Announces Half Days for June 23-24

In anticipation of extreme heat this week and its impact on health and safety in schools, the East Greenbush Central School District will have half days for grades PK-8 on Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24. The current weather forecast shows temperatures in the mid-90s and a heat index reaching 105 degrees.

Molly Simmons ’26 Named Big Board Sports Athlete of the Week

Columbia Girls’ Soccer Player Molly Simmons ’26 was named the Big Board Sports Athlete of the Week by News Channel 13 on Wednesday. Simmons has scored six goals this season, which is tied for most on the team. She has helped lead the Blue Devils to an undefeated 7-0-1 record so far this season and the #3 ranking in the New York State Sports Writers Class AA poll.

Simmons is also a High Honor Roll student and gives back to her local youth soccer club by serving as a referee.
