Students in the Middle School Achievement Program at Howard L. Goff Middle School participated in a team building field trip recently that transformed the way they approached problem-solving and teamwork. The field trip was to the East Greenbush Town Park where the students participated in games that required working together.
As soon as they arrived, the students were excited to be working side by side with the MAP staff who emphasized the importance of collaboration and thinking outside the box.
Throughout the day, trust blossomed between the students and the staff. The staff fostered an environment where questions were welcomed and mistakes were seen as learning opportunities. This atmosphere encouraged students to share their thoughts and take risks, leading to creative solutions that they might not have considered in a more structured setting.
