Visit our Facebook page to see inside the classroom of Columbia Art Teacher Andrea Neiman’s Photography Class. On Tuesday, she distributed single lens reflex (SLR) cameras to students for the first time this semester and taught them about the parts of the camera. The students were able to handle the cameras and learn about the manual mode options.
Students will be using the cameras, which include Canon, Pentax and Minolta brands, throughout the semester and develop film in the school’s darkroom. The East Greenbush CSD is one of only three districts locally with a working darkroom.
