On Tuesday, October 22, CTAEP students in Pamela Jackson’s Business Math class welcomed guest speaker Michael Ruger, CFP of Greenbush Financial Group LLC, to discuss the importance of saving money at a young age to ensure financial stability later in life, and the basics of investing in stocks.
Mr. Ruger gave a presentation on the stock market and shared tips on how to choose the right stocks to invest in. He also highlighted examples of successful figures like Elon Musk, Walt Disney, and J.K. Rowling, who overcame challenges before finding success.
Students were tested on their financial knowledge and given a $10 Dunkin’ gift card when they answered a question correctly.
