Eight Columbia High School students will compete in the singing competition Columbia Idol on Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. Each contestant will perform a song on stage for a panel of judges. The top five singers will advance to the final round and perform again with the winner being chosen by an audience vote.

The event will be hosted by Kole Hardy ’25 and Lucia Soliman ’25. The show will also feature special performances by the hosts and 2022 Columbia Idol winner Emma O’Kane ’24.

Tickets will be sold at the door and cost $10. All proceeds will benefit Columbia Chamber Singers.
