Students in Ms. Ouimet’s and Mrs. DiGiorgi’s 6th and 7th grade ELA classes got together before the Thanksgiving holiday to share in a gratitude activity. Students made “Gratitude Pies” which showed the different things they are thankful for in their lives, such as family, food and music. During the activity, they created Thanksgiving turkey cookies.

“It’s an annual tradition for our classes to get together,” said Kimberly DiGiorgi, 7th Grade Special Education Teacher and Curriculum Equivalent ELA Teacher. “We want our students to bring home these “gratitude pies” and share them with their families and loved ones who all contributed to giving us things that we are grateful for.”
