Columbia High School celebrated its Month Students of the Month last week. Each student winner was nominated by a teacher or staff member for various categories such as Academics, Citizenship and Most Improved. Congratulations!

Andre Miller – (Grade 9)

“During the last two months he has shown significant improvement in his attitude toward school and work effort. Andre has become a leader in the classroom and encourages others to stay on task and complete their work. Andre is always pleasant, kind and respectful and is a pleasure to have in class. Andre’s growth and outlook in school is to be applauded. He is one of the most improved students in the freshman class and we are very proud of the growth he has shown.”
Julia Cusato – (Grade 9)

Molly “Superstar” Simmons – (Grade 11)

“Molly is a very kind young lady that is consistently ready to help those around her. Whenever there is a classmate in need Molly is there. She has helped escort students to the nurse’s office and has provided technical support to students having trouble with their Chromebook. Molly is a great student.”
Jenna Robinson – (Grade 12)

“Jenna goes out of her way every day in the morning, afternoon or anytime she sees me to ask how my day is going or to ask how the weekend was.  She even asks if vacation was good or not.  Jenna is a great student.”
Xena Lewis – (Grade 12)

“Xena is always on task, completing all of her school work. She will volunteer to assist other students to help complete their work. She is fabulous in “group” work, always giving input.
