Sixth Grader Graeme McCarthy won the 2024 Goff History Bee on December 20. The school wide competition tested students on U.S. and World History. McCarthy was one of fourteen contestants who qualified for the competition by having the top scores in a school-wide test earlier in the month.
One of the final questions of the competition asked “ Name the 7 people on the $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100.” (Answer: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton, Andrew Jackson, Ulysses S. Grant, Benjamin Franklin)
