Math League had a busy holiday season during the past month. It convened for its third contest of the season, students celebrated the holidays with math-themed cookies, they created a math “Geom-a-Tree” in the main lobby with student-made ornaments, and they collected non-perishable food to donate to a local food pantry.

Math League is a club in which Columbia students compete in a series of math contests after school throughout the year. Students are expected to have a background in advanced algebra, geometry and high-level thinking skills.

Math League cco-presidents Eden Ladd and Kiera Miller helped the group celebrate the holidays with math-themed cookies
