The East Greenbush Central School District is moving forward with its search for a new Superintendent of Schools and is accepting applications today through February 22.

Representatives from Questar III BOCES, which is coordinating the district’s search, presented a stakeholder survey report at the public Board of Education meeting on Wednesday evening. They also shared the next steps in the search process.

The stakeholder survey received 1,195 responses from parents, teachers, staff, community members and students. That feedback is being used to help define the position profile and desired selection criteria for an ideal candidate.

“We are committed to finding a leader who understands each need, of the individuals that make up our community, values varying perspectives, and can execute a vision that unites us and improves outcomes for all students,” said Board of Education President Jesse Temple. “This is an opportunity to bring our district closer together and continue our legacy of excellence.”
