Career Tech presentation
Howard L. Goff Middle School 8th graders learned about the many academic options available to them in high school during an assembly on Thursday morning in the school gym. Representatives from Columbia High School, as well as, Questar STEM High School, Questar Career Tech, Questar New Visions and Tech Valley High School presented information about their programs.

The assembly was organized by Family and Consumer Science Teacher Debreen Oliva and Guidance Department Chair Sharon Dunn.

“I am glad we were able to bring the different presenters to Goff for the assembly so 8th graders would have the opportunity to learn about some of the Columbia High School electives and alternate high school program options that will enable students to explore and prepare for future careers,” said Mrs. Oliva.
