The East Greenbush Teachers Association completed its annual Valentine drive for local senior citizens this past week. They delivered 1,000 Valentine cards made by students and EGTA members from all schools to local seniors at Rosewood and Evergreen Commons, and to the Rensselaer County Department for the Aging.
As a special treat this year, students designed Valentines in Ms. Gioia’s computer graphics class at Columbia High School.
“We appreciate the time and care our teachers took with their classes, and the students’ beautiful work to make this a reality yet again,” said EGTA Community Relations Officer and Goff Choral Teacher Hannah Wunsch.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
