Columbia High School celebrated its Month Students of the Month last week. Each student winner was nominated by a teacher or staff member for various categories such as Academics, Citizenship and Most Improved. Congratulations!
Vinny Jones – (Grade 9)

“Vinny deserves academic recognition for his consistent dedication and hard work. He consistently demonstrates initiative and a strong commitment to his studies. Vinny’s work ethic is evident in his impressive grades, including a 95 in PE, 92 in Living Environment, 94 in Intro to Algebra, 88 in English, and an 83 in Global History. He also takes the time to help others, showing great compassion. Vinny’s perseverance and positive attitude make him a deserving candidate for this recognition.”
Tyler Anderson – (Grade 10)

“Tyler has taken a leadership role here at the help desk. Tyler often assists fellow Help Desk members with their work and defers work to others, giving them valuable experience. Tyler also excels in the area of customer service. He is respectful to classmates and staff and often goes above and beyond when technology related issues arise.”

“Jacob has been spending additional time after class in Woods to help Mr. Draina to work on set pieces for the middle school play. That is a huge help to get all the set pieces completed in time for the play.”
Jonathan Columbus – (Grade 12)

“Jonathan is a very hard worker in Intro to Video Game Development. He is a true leader when working in a group and puts in much effort in and outside of class to complete projects on time and with much attention to detail. He has maintained a 95 average and truly is someone with a great attitude every day and an amazing sense of work ethic. As a true leader, Jonathan on many occasions carried his group to meet deadlines.”
