On Thursday, March 6, Genet Elementary School hosted its annual STEM Fair in the school gymnasium featuring 39 projects on topics ranging from photosynthesis, kinetic sand, and sustainable living.
53 students from kindergarten through 5th grade participated in the event where they explained their research and findings to teachers, staff and families.
Genet teachers Joan Davis and Michelle Martino organized the event.
“The STEM Fair was a reminder that curiosity, hands-on experimentation, and a little imagination are all it takes to explore the wonders of the world around us. Whether solving crimes, drawing with a harmonograph, or exploring animal emotions, students demonstrated the incredible potential of young minds to think beyond the classroom,” said 4th-grade teacher Joan Davis.
Special thanks to Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Martino, Jessica Sweeney for taking photos, and the custodians for their assistance in setup and breakdown!
