The East Greenbush CSD is hosting Budget Workshop #4 at the public Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Goff Middle School cafeteria. All residents are invited to attend and learn more about the proposed school budget for next year.

Pre-K Lottery Rescheduled to May 1

All families registered for the Pre-K Lottery have been notified of this scheduling change.

Lottery drumThe Pre-K Lottery for the 2025-26 school year, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2025, has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Columbia High School Auditorium.

The reason for this rescheduling is to ensure that the lottery occurs with the most accurate and up-to-date site information. The East Greenbush Central School District is currently in the process of finalizing the budget for the upcoming school year, and this process includes an evaluation of UPK site locations.

Please be assured that the district remains fully committed to offering universal pre-kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. The original 165 student slots will still be available.

Should any location changes occur as a result of the district budget process, this information will be communicated to applicants enrolled in the lottery immediately following the budget adoption.
