Red Mill Elementary School recently held a cereal drive to benefit our district’s Backpack Program, helping provide food for families throughout the summer months. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students and families, Red Mill collected an impressive 535 boxes of cereal!

To celebrate our students’ kindness and community spirit, the school hosted a fun and exciting culminating event. The gym was lined with the donated cereal boxes, set up like dominoes in a winding trail. Students gathered to watch in anticipation as the dominoes began to fall—and cheered as the cereal maze made its way around the gym!

A special thank you goes out to Red Mill Librarian Ms. Griffin who spearheaded the drive , P.E. Teachers Mr. Sankey and Mr. Welge, for setting up the domino trail, and to Mrs. Petromelis, who oversees the Backpack Program and manages donations throughout the year.
