The East Greenbush Central School District recognized its 2024-25 Volunteers of the Year at the public Board of Education meeting on Tuesday evening at Howard L. Goff Middle School School. The Volunteers of the Year were nominated by administrators from each school as well as the Athletic Department.
The Volunteers of the Year spend countless hours helping teachers in classrooms, coordinating and assisting at school events, organizing fundraisers, supporting booster clubs, and volunteering as coaches.
“This is one of our favorite meetings of the year because we get an opportunity to formally thank you for all of the hard work (and) dedication you give to our students and school buildings as volunteers,” Superintendent Jeff Simons said during the recognition ceremony. “We couldn’t do what we do to meet our mission without you.”
During the volunteer recognition ceremony, each honoree received a certificate and a special gift.
Congratulations to our Volunteers of the Year and thank you for your contributions!
