During Spring Recess students, faculty, and families from Columbia High School took a trip of a lifetime to Japan through EF Tours. The group of 40 travelers began their journey in Albany with a connection in Dallas, Texas before embarking on the 13-hour flight around the globe to Tokyo, Japan.

The trip included stops in Tokyo, Kamakura, the Hakone region, Nara, Kyoto, and Oskara. The travelers immersed themselves in Japanese culture, visiting historic sights including shrines, castles, and museums. They also enjoyed a private sumo show, street food adventures, and a ride on the bullet train.

Students embraced every moment of the experience, from using chopsticks at every meal to dressing in traditional Yukatas and Kimonos.
