School Budget Vote - Tuesday, May 20

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a school budget for 2025-26 of $115,153,000 that maintains all current regular school year programs. The Budget Vote and Board Election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Lottery Results for 2025-26 Pre-K Program

Lottery drumThe East Greenbush Central School District conducted a lottery for the 2025-26 Pre-K Program on Thursday evening in the Columbia High School auditorium.

The first 165 children drawn in the lottery will be offered spots in the free Pre-K Program. All remaining applicants will be added to a wait list.

Pre-K Site Assignments

Please be aware that the notification of UPK site assignments is being delayed due to the pending approval of the New York State budget. All 165 pre-k spots will be offered, however, changes to our class locations may be required based on the final state budget. In the event that UPK sites are modified, all lottery participants will be informed and will have the opportunity to revise their site preferences.

Once the state budget is released, we will finalize UPK locations and begin notifying families of their assigned sites. (Please note that UPK site assignments are non-transferable between families and are determined according to the lottery order and the site preferences submitted.)
