Students and families view artwork on display at the 2025 District-wide Art Show on Thursday evening at Columbia High School.
The East Greenbush Central School District Art Department hosted the 2025 District-wide Art Show on Thursday, transforming Columbia High School into a vibrant art gallery. The lobby and hallways were lined with a mix of mediums and styles that included paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, and video games.
The District-wide Art Show has become a beloved annual tradition in the East Greenbush CSD, highlighting the importance of arts education in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. The sheer volume and quality of the artwork on display served as a powerful reminder of the vital role the arts play in enriching the lives of students and the community.
“It was beautiful and inspiring to witness so many community members together, in one place, celebrating the hard work, creativity, and talent of our students and their art teachers,” said Art Department Chair Andrea Neiman. “I heard so many times, throughout the week, by students and colleagues, that the District-wide Art Show is one of their favorite events of the year! Thank you to all who came out to support the Art Program.”
Select pieces of middle school and high school 3D artwork remain on display at the East Greenbush Community Library throughout the month of May.
