Registration for the Summer 2025 Driver Education class at Columbia High School is now open. In order to register, students must register online through FamilyID and submit the required paperwork and payment.

Driver Education includes classroom instruction and hands-on driving accompanied by the instructor. The course will begin on June 26, 2025.

Please note that registration will be limited to the first 28 students that register and submit the required paperwork and payment. The cost of the class is $500.00. Students must be at least 16 years old and have a valid learners permit/license by Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Registration

Registration will be done online using FamilyID. (However, please note – there are two pieces of paper, along with payment, that must be printed out and returned to Mr. Tooker as soon as possible after registering in order for your spot to be guaranteed if you are amongst the first 28 students to register on Family ID. Payment must be in the form of a check and the check must be made out to “East Greenbush CSD” for $500.00.)

Students and their parents/guardians who end up waitlisted will be contacted by Mr. Tooker via email.

Non-East Greenbush CSD Students

If you are not an East Greenbush CSD student but wish to register, you need to email Mr. Tooker at TookerJe@egcsd.org ASAP for further information. Do not register using the online website.
