Meet the Candidates Night – Wednesday, May 13

Residents will have the opportunity to meet the four Board of Education candidates on Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Howard L. Goff Middle School cafeteria for Meet the Candidates Night. There are three open seats in this year’s election, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19. Each of the four candidates will discuss their qualifications and answer questions. The event will be hosted by the League of Women Voters.

Red Mill Field Day Schedule

Students competing at Red Mill Field DayRed Mill Field Day for grades 1-5 is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 at the field behind school. All parents are welcome to attend this fun event.

Track and field events will include races, long jump, javelin, discus, softball throw, potato sack races and basketball.

Schedule:

Grade 4 – 9:30-10:30
Grade 5 – 10:35-11:25
Grade 2 – 11:40-12:40
Grade 1 – 1:35-2:15
Grade 3 – 2:20-3:00
Coaches Cup – 3:05-3:15 (for students who have qualified)

Kindergarten Field Day is scheduled separately on Wednesday, June 11 from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
