Goff Science Olympiad state champions Tara Rossbach and Colin Vogel received proclamations from Senator Jake Ashby at the team’s end of year party on May 30.
The Goff Science Olympiad team hosted its end of year party on Friday, and during the event, Senator Jake Ashby presented well-deserved proclamations to State Champions Tara Rossbach and Colin Vogel. They had won first place in the Air Trajectory event at the NYS Science Olympiad Finals in April.
Senator Ashby was able to visit with students and watch demonstrations of some Science Olympiad events.
“I want to congratulate Science Olympiad state champions Tara Rossbach and Colin Vogel for their incredible accomplishment,” said Senator Ashby. “It’s a credit to their ingenuity and talent. They couldn’t have done it without the guidance and support of their coaches, Donnamarie Vlieg and Zach Hutson, volunteers Jeff Hicks and Ryan Ecker, and, of course, their parents.”
