Bell Top 5th graders received graduation certificates on Friday in front of their families at the Moving Up Ceremony in the school gym. Fifth grade teachers Alyssa Breznak and Chris LaBarge, and Lauren Castellana, along with Principal Neumann and other Bell Top teachers and staff, congratulated the students for successfully completing elementary school.

The students will move on to 6th grade at Howard L. Goff Middle School in September.

Assistant Attorney General Adrienne Kerwin presented the following awards:

Attorney General’s Triple “C” Awards

  • Joseph McFadden

  • Olivia Burkart

Attorney General’s Civic Ambassador Award

  • Zachary Hopkins

New York State Comptroller’s Award

  • Parker Seibel

The Moving Up Ceremony began with a processional and then students performing the song “Party in the USA.” The 5th grade teachers played a video of them reading What the Road Said by Cleo Wade, and a separate video of the other Bell Top teachers sharing their good wishes with the students. Students also shared the personal precepts they selected to guide them throughout their school careers.
