Fifth grade students at Genet Elementary School walked across the stage for the final time on Thursday morning as they received graduation certificates in front of their families and friend. The event marked the end of elementary school as the students move on to Howard L. Goff Middle School in September.

During the ceremony, Student Council President Greyson Bailey addressed his fellow classmates reminiscing about their time at Genet over the years. Senator Jake Ashby and Principal Wayne Grignon also spoke congratulating the students on their accomplishments.

Following the ceremony, students, families, and staff were invited to enjoy refreshments in the courtyard.

Congratulations!
