Kim Turner was elected Board of Education President for the 2025-26 school year.
The East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education elected officers for the 2025-26 school year at its organizational meeting on Wednesday evening.
Kim Turner was elected president, Catherine Van Orden as vice president, Michael Buono as assistant clerk and Samantha Phillips as deputy treasurer.
The organizational meeting preceded the board’s first regular meeting of the 2025-26 school year.
“I appreciate the board’s support in electing me as president,” said Ms. Turner. “We have a significant transition ahead, but I look forward to working with Dr. Kotes and our newly elected board to continue moving our district toward excellence.”
During the meeting, new board members Cyndi Herron, Rob Marchiony, Rob Panasci and Robert Shane took the oath of office. They were elected to the board in May.
