The East Greenbush Central School District Safety Plan for 2025-26 is now open for public comment. In accordance with state regulations, school districts are required to develop District-wide Safety Plans each school year. The comprehensive plan outlines policies and procedures for emergencies, responses to threats of violence, and the number and types of safety drills to be completed.
The Safety Plan also includes the School Resource Officer agreements. Those agreements have expired as of June 30, 2025 and are in the process of being renewed. The agreements will be added to this plan upon finalization.
Public comments will be accepted for the next 30 days. After this period ends, the plan will be submitted for approval to the Board of Education at its August 13 public meeting.
