Rensselaer County is hosting a free Active Parenting Workshop with five sessions starting Wednesday, September 10. This workshop is for parents of children ages 5-12. The workshop will offer guidance in the areas of respectful discipline, communication, encouragement of school success, and prevention of future problems with drugs, alcohol and sex.
The workshop is available free of charge to any parents who live or work in Rensselaer County.
