Board of Education Meeting/Budget Workshop – April 15

The next Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Central Administration Conference Room. The meeting will include an update to the proposed school budget. The public may attend the meeting in person or watch the live stream.

Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Students

The East Greenbush Central School District will be offering free breakfast and lunch to all students in our schools during the 2025-26 school year.

School Calendars

Printed school calendars will be distributed to students on the first day of school so they can bring them home to their families. If families have more than one student at home, the youngest child will bring the calendar home.

Columbia Freshman and New Student Orientation

Columbia High School will welcome its incoming 9th graders and any new students to Freshman and New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 21 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Students should be dropped off in the lower parking lot and then proceed to the West Lobby entrance (near the auditorium and cafeteria). Goff 6th Grade and New Student Orientation

Howard L. Goff Middle School will be hosting a 6th Grade and New Student Orientation on Monday, August 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. This event is for students only. More Information.

Teacher Tips for Incoming Kindergarten and Pre-K Students

As the new school year approaches, many of our youngest students are preparing to enter school for the very first time in Pre-K and Kindergarten. It is an exciting time for those students and their families, but there can also be feelings of anxiety and nervousness. Back to School Photos

Parents/guardians can share their back to school photos with the school district by emailing them to adamma@egcsd.org. Photos will be collected the first week of school and shared on our school website and on our social media.
