Phase 1B
The district selected contractors for Phase 1B of the Capital Project through a public competitive bidding process. The total bid amount for Phase 1B, which includes the Goff athletic fields, access road and elevator, came in under budget by approximately $1.2 million.

Because of the favorable bids, the district is able to add some additional items to enhance this part of the project.

The contractors selected are:

  • Shaker Flats (site contractor)
  • CKM Electrical (electrical contractor)

Alternate Items Added to Phase 1B:

  • Second Multisport Court
  • Box Beam Guide Rail for Access Road
  • Ball Stop Netting at Grass Play Field
  • Field Turf Vertex Prime Synthetic System

The bids were recommended by the district’s architect LaBella Associates and construction manager Turner Construction, and then approved by the Board of Education at their public meeting on Tuesday evening.

Pending weather, Phase 1B construction will begin in September.

Phase 2
Phase 2, which includes the Goff library renovation and the full scope at Red Mill including the library renovation, HVAC/air conditioning and playground, has been approved by the New York State Education Department. Bids should be available in December 2025 with construction starting in February 2026.
