Members of the Defreestvillle Fire Department spoke to students at fire safety.
October is Fire Prevention Month, and students at Bell Top Elementary School learned about fire safety and how to respond in an emergency. Local firefighters spoke with students about fire alarms, the “stop, drop, and roll” technique, and other important safety tips. Over the next two weeks, fire departments will visit the other elementary schools to share these lessons. A special thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to educate and protect our students and community.
