East Greenbush CSD elementary schools hosted Veterans Day celebrations to honor the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States of America military. Veterans related to students were invited to assemblies, breakfast and other special events.
These celebrations are a special tradition in our schools and a meaningful way for students and staff to thank our veterans for their service.
All schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. However, teachers and students will be volunteering that day as they rake leaves for local veterans. That annual event is organized by the East Greenbush Teachers Association.
