The East Greenbush Central School District is pleased to announce the launch of its annual Adopt-a-Family Program, an essential initiative that provides support, comfort, and joy to students and families within our district who are experiencing financial or personal hardship during the holiday season.

This powerful program ensures that every family can celebrate a meaningful and memorable holiday.

• How You Can Help: Individuals, local organizations, and community groups are invited to “adopt” an EGCSD family. As a donor, you will receive a completed holiday wish list early in the season, which will include specific clothing sizes and desired items, giving you ample time to shop. (Adopted families receiving gifts are kept confidential.)
• Donor Guidelines: We ask that donors wrap the gifts and label them clearly with the family’s assigned identification number before drop-off.
• Lasting Impact: In 2024, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Capital District community, the program successfully served over 50 families.
