The East Greenbush CSD will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Additionally, Columbia High School has no classes starting Tuesday, January 20 through Friday, January 23 due to Regents and Midterm Exams. Only students taking exams should attend. All other schools in the district will be in session on those days.
Columbia High School musicians from four different ensembles performed a free holiday concert in the Empire State Plaza Concourse in Albany on Friday. Students entertained families, state workers, and visitors with a mix of popular Christmas carols and upbeat, jazzy selections, including “Carol of the Bells,” “White Christmas,” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.”
The ensembles included the Chamber Singers, Orchestra, Concert Band and Symphonic Band.
