Columbia students preparing to deliver holiday gifts to students at St. Anne's Preschool in Albany
For the 27th year, Columbia Cheerleaders and members of the Leaders of Tomorrow, Leading Today Club continued the tradition of spreading holiday joy to students at Saint Anne Institute Preschool in Albany. Nearly 50 Columbia students visited St. Anne’s on Wednesday morning to deliver presents and spend time with the children.

While giving new toys and clothing to the children was exciting, the time spent playing, coloring and laughing together was the greatest gift.

“We are so proud of our students for leading with heart and showing what it means to serve the community,” said Christine Kawczak, a Columbia math teacher and cheerleading assistant coach. “Here’s to 27 years of compassion, tradition, and holiday magic!”
