Construction site behind Goff Middle School where a new track and turf field is being added.
The East Greenbush Central School District provided a Capital Project update to the community during its public Board of Education meeting on Wednesday evening.
Phase 1B
Construction for Phase 1B, which includes the Goff athletic fields and access road, began in September. Construction is expected to run through 2026.
- Access Road Connecting Hays Road and Goff
- Installed fill and subbase for the access road
- Track and Turf Field
- Demolished old baseball field
- Removed topsoil for track and field and begun placing fill
- Installed new sports lighting poles
Phase 2
Construction bids for Phase 2, which includes Red Mill air conditioning, playground and library and the Goff library, opened last week. Presentation of low bids is scheduled for the January 14 Board of Education meeting.
Construction is scheduled to start in February 2026.
