EGTA volunteering at Nassau Resource Center

Members of the East Greenbush Teachers Association packed free holiday meals for the Nassau Resource Center to distribute to families in need.

Members of the East Greenbush Teachers Association and their families volunteered at the Nassau Resource Center on Saturday in support of its annual holiday outreach mission. The volunteer group gathered at the Village Hall to organize food donations into boxes designed for Christmas dinners. Once packed, the team helped distribute the meals to those in need.

This year, 109 families received free Holiday dinner boxes.

“We love being able to partner with this amazing organization every December,” said Hannah Wunsch, a Goff Music Teacher and EGTA member.

The Nassau Resource Center operates through the dedication of local volunteers and is always looking for new helping hands to join their mission. If you are interested in volunteering for future events or learning more about their services, please contact Diana Murphy at Dmurphy12123@gmail.com.
