Seventh grader Graeme McCarthy won the 2025 Goff Geography Bee on Friday afternoon in the Howard L. Goff Middle School gymnasium. The competition tested students in categories such as U.S. Geography, World Geography, World Flags, and Famous U.S. and World Landmarks.
McCarthy was one of 13 contestants who qualified for the competition by having the top scores in a school-wide test earlier in the month. He also won last year’s History Bee as a 6th grader.
