The spirit of giving was loud and clear this season as the Columbia Key Club teamed up once again with the Kiwanis Club of East Greenbush for their annual Bells of Life fundraiser. Thanks to the hard work of student volunteers and the generosity of the community, the campaign raised an impressive $1,809.34 for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.
Throughout the drive, students and Kiwanis members were stationed at Becker’s Farm and Colonie Center, selling decorative holiday bells for $1.00 each. While the price of a bell is small, the collective impact of those donations is life-changing for families.
Thank you to everyone who supported this community service project!
