Students in Ms. Oliva’s Home and Career Skills class use virtual reality headsets to explore different career paths.
Students explored real-world careers through virtual reality headsets provided to Ms. Oliva’s Home and Career Skills class by the New York State Department of Labor. Each student had the opportunity to try on a headset and experience different careers based on their interests. Career options included healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and automotive repair. This activity gave students firsthand exposure to various job fields, helping them explore potential career paths before deciding which direction to pursue.
Thank you to the NYS Department of Labor for bringing this experience to our students!
